Was watching you on SpotterNetwork all evening from northwest Kansas to southwest Kansas, and as I type you are south of Dodge. It looked like you were north of the Tribune supercell. July chasing is difficult because forcing is weaker and it’s more difficult to hone in on a specific area for a long-lived supercell.. all of the evening supercells were fairly short lived… less than 2 hours for sure. -Mike U

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your comment! I really enjoy your work; your website and blog is great (I have a link to your site on my site, and will just now put a link to your blog on my blog), and your storm photos are some of the best I have ever seen.
We mostly saw quarter-size hail (about 3 to 5 inches deep) south of Goodland on Saturday, with a couple about ping pong ball size. We were north of the Tribune supercell for a while, but couldn’t get around it; by the time we were south of it, the line had formed and chased us to Garden City, where we stopped for a bite to eat. All the way back to the Oklahoma border we saw some amazing lightning (quite a few CGs) on the back of the line.
Hoping for more today!
